Bard's Errors

The Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre will stage its reduced, family-friendly production of William Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors at 2 p.m. today and Saturday at the Donald W. Reynolds Performance Hall, University of Central Arkansas, 201 Donaghey Ave., Conway. Tickets are $10. Call (866) 810-0012 or visit arkshakes.com.

There will also be a performance at 6:30 p.m. Saturday on the front lawn of the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute on Petit Jean Mountain, 1 Rockefeller Drive, Morrilton. A question-and-answer session with the actors will follow. Admission is by free ticket; sign up by emailing theresa@uawri.org or by calling (501) 727-6220. There will be 200 chairs on the lawn and space to spread out blankets. Church tickets

Tickets -- $77, $59, $47.50 and $37.50 -- go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketmaster outlets for a 7 p.m. Sept. 12 concert by country singer-songwriter Eric Church, part of the "Outsiders World Tour," at North Little Rock's Verizon Arena. "Special guests" will be Dwight Yoakam and Brothers Osborne. The arena is using its Credit Card Entry (formerly Paperless Ticketing) system for this concert.
