LITTLE ROCK — The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is scheduled to provide free health care services later this month at its 12th Street Health and Wellness Center.
The event is set for March 22 at Saint Mark Baptist Church in Little Rock.
Although the event will focus mainly on men's health, women also are invited to receive free blood pressure checks, body mass index estimates, and glucose and cholesterol screenings.
Men who attend may also have blood drawn to check testosterone levels, among other health services.
A panel of health-care professionals, pharmacists and doctors also will be on hand to answer personal health questions.
