LOS ANGELES — A strongly felt earthquake has rolled across Los Angeles.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported it had a preliminary 4.7 magnitude and was centered 5 miles north-northwest of the city's Westwood neighborhood.
The 6:25 a.m. Monday quake occurred at a depth of about 5 miles.
The Los Angeles Fire Department has received no immediate reports of damage.
