Megan Whitney Jameson became the bride of Garrett Robert Sheumaker at 7 p.m. Friday, May 16, at the Terry House. Bill Oliver of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ officiated.

Parents of the bride are Donna and John Kendrick Jameson III, 20 Hearthside Drive. Her grandparents are Mildred and the late Arlin Rains of Harrison, Jerry and Donald Lively of Bass, and Geraldine and the late John Kendrick Jameson Jr. of Bald Knob.

The groom is the son of Rebecca and Dr. Glenn Robert Sheumaker Jr. of Lakeland, Fla. He is the grandson of Louise and the late Grady Stewart of Middleton, Tenn., and the late Laura and Glenn Robert Sheumaker of Lakeland.

An arrangement of white hydrangeas, bells of Ireland, white snapdragons, coral roses and peach Dutch stock decorated the ceremony site. Music was by Panche Duo.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a Vera Wang fit-and-flare gown of ivory crinkle chiffon with a strapless bodice, sweep train and a sash embellished with appliques and beading. She carried a bouquet of ivory hydrangeas, spray roses, silver brunia and dusty miller.

Erin Roberts of Fayetteville, cousin of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mary Dudley Hodges of Little Rock, Tiffany Summitt of Maumelle and Audra Norris of North Little Rock. They wore oasis blue strapless gowns of chiffon with pleated bodices and carried coral and white roses with a collar of dusty miller.

Flower girls and ring bearer were Olivia and Phoebe Jameson and Hayes Jameson, all of Aberdeen, Scotland, nieces and nephew of the bride.

Serving as best man was Aaron Nelson of Lakeland. Groomsmen were Jason Hendrix of Lakeland; David Mohundro of Lakeland, Tenn.; and Christopher Robertson of New Orleans, brother of the bride. Guests were seated by Andrew Carty of Bloomington, Ind., cousin of the bride, and Russell and Matthew Gordon of Little Rock, nephews of the bride

A reception at the Terry House followed the ceremony. Guest tables held arrangements of peach and white wedding flowers including hydrangeas, stock, snapdragons and roses.

The bride attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She is a dental hygienist at Little Rock Smiles.

The groom graduated from Harding University in Searcy with a bachelor's degree in biology. He has a medical technology certification from Baptist Health and is a graduate student in cellular physiology and molecular biophysics at UAMS.

The couple will reside in Little Rock after a wedding trip to Anna Maria Island, Fla.
