24 iPads stolen from Hall High School

Twenty-four Apple iPads, worth $12,358, were stolen from Hall High School on Sunday morning, police say.

Little Rock police officers responded to an alarm call at the school, located at 6700 H St., about 3:31 a.m. Sunday but were unable to enter a fence on the north side of the building then, a police report states.

Little Rock police were notified Tuesday that someone had broken into Room 604 of the school through the window and used bolt-cutters to get into the case where the iPad 2s were stored, according to the report.

A previous Little Rock Police Department report stated that 25 iPads were stolen, but one of the iPads was found on the floor near the storage case.

Hall High School Principal Larry Schleicher sent police a list of the stolen iPads and their serial numbers, police said.

In a previous burglary at the high school last December, 25 iPads were stolen in the same manner.

No suspect information has been released, and no arrests have been made.
