A Conway man was arrested Tuesday over accusations he robbed a bank earlier this month, officials say.
Brian Smith, 38, is accused of walking into Centennial Bank at 2609 Donaghey Ave. about 11:40 a.m. Nov. 3 and giving the teller a note demanding money, Conway Police Department spokesman Latresha Woodruff said in an email.
Detectives identified Smith after following up on tips that were called and texted in, police said.
Smith is being held at the Faulkner County jail, pending a formal charge of aggravated robbery, Woodruff said.
