Arkansas Achievers

John Robinson of Diamond City, has been named the Arkansas Paramedic of the Year at the Arkansas State Emergency Medical Services Conference. He is a 21-year veteran paramedic with the North Arkansas Regional Medical Center and was nominated for his years of service in the industry, his excellent care skills, his dedication to EMS education/training and his community involvement.

Asha Foster of West Memphis, has been awarded the 2014 Excellence in Education Award at the Alpha Delta Kappa South Central Regional Conference in Tulsa. Foster currently leads science education at West Memphis High School as the chairman of the science department.

Catherine Crawford of Maumelle, a graduate of Mount St. Mary Academy, has received the James Patterson Teacher Education Scholarship to attend the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

Aubrey Edwards of Prairie Grove, a graduate of Prairie Grove High School, has received the James Patterson Teacher Education Scholarship to attend the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

Kaylee Hamilton of Rogers, a graduate of Heritage High School, has received the James Patterson Teacher Education Scholarship to attend the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

Arllyn Hernandez of Rogers, a graduate of Heritage High School, has received the James Patterson Teacher Education Scholarship to attend the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

Allison Overdorf of Prairie Grove, a graduate of Greenland High School, has received the James Patterson Teacher Education Scholarship to attend the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

Erin Phelan of Little Rock, a graduate of Central High School, has received the James Patterson Teacher Education Scholarship to attend the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

Anne Schexnayder of Little Rock, a graduate of Central High School, has received the James Patterson Teacher Education Scholarship to attend the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

Makayla Terry of Lincoln, a graduate of Prairie Grove High School, has received the James Patterson Teacher Education Scholarship to attend the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

Madison Wortsmith of Little Rock, a graduate of Mount St. Mary Academy, has received the James Patterson Teacher Education Scholarship to attend the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

Christopher Baldwin of Bryant, has been awarded the W. W. Allen Boys & Girls Club Scholarship at Oklahoma State University. Baldwin joined the Boys and Girls Club in third grade. In high school, he was an American Cancer Society junior ambassador, the wrestling team captain and a four-year letterman in wrestling.

John David Wolfe of Sherwood, a graduate from Little Rock Catholic High, has been inducted as a member of the Christian Brothers University Lasallian Fellows Class of 2015, the highest student honor granted by the Catholic university. Wolfe was nominated because of academic excellence, commitment to social justice, the active nature of his faith and an inspired approach to change-making.

Arkansas Achievers is an opportunity to give recognition to Arkansans for their achievements.

Civilian and military achievements are accepted.

Pageants, deans' lists, graduations or military enlistments are not accepted.
