A Little Rock woman who in August admitted to starting a series of fires at her apartment complex last year was sentenced to prison Friday morning.

Lacey Moore, 44, received 16 years in prison followed by five years of supervised release after she pleaded guilty Aug. 1 to setting seven fires at Forest Place Apartments, 1421 N. University Ave. She was also ordered to pay $12.6 million in restitution.

In exchange for her plea, Moore's charges were reduced to one count of arson and one count of arson resulting in bodily harm. The fires caused 90 people to be permanently displaced, $12.5 million in damage to the complex and injuries to two Little Rock firefighters, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette previously reported.
