Sarah Catherine Turner became the bride of Edward George Jones, who goes by Teddy, at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at the bride's family home, Journeycake Estate in Roland. William Jones, uncle of the groom and pastor at First Evangelical Free Church of Manchester, Mo., officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Martha Turner Snider of Little Rock and K. Rick Turner of Houston. Her grandparents are Cathey and Ken Turner of Little Rock and the late Sarah and Robert Morse of Crossett.

Shelley and Matthew Jones of Palo Alto, Calif., are the parents of the groom. His grandparents are Leah Jones and the late Dr. Robert Jones, and Marilyn and Charles George.

Vows were exchanged outdoors at a wooden arbor decorated with floral medallions and garlands of wedding flowers.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a honey-colored strapless A-line gown with an embroidered bodice and tulle skirt. She carried a mix of garden roses.

Serving as the bride's honor attendants were Sarah Fess McGinty and Rebekah Fess Cooper, both of Fayetteville; and Shelby Turner of Little Rock, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Mary Coleman of Chicago; Margaret Kyle of Charleston, S.C.; Kathleen Kreider and Emily Fitzgerald, both of New York; Katey Paul of Nashville, Tenn.; Sunita Singh of Dallas; and Catherine Glenn of Fort Worth. They wore navy gowns in the style of their choice and carried rose bouquets.

The groom's honor attendants were his brothers, Samuel Jones of Boston and Charles Jones of Palo Alto. Groomsmen were Jason Turner of Little Rock, brother of the bride; Zach Graumann of New York; Jason Begleiter of San Francisco; Robert Caesar of San Antonio; Adam Rothschild of San Diego; Patrick Egan of Indianapolis; Evans Hassold of Charlotte, N.C.; Christopher Martin of Durham, N.C.; and Thomas O'Malley of New Orleans.

A tented reception, also at the home, followed the ceremony. Tables held arrangements of ivory wedding flowers with vines and berries. Music was by Soul Sations of Memphis.

The bride graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University in Nashville with a bachelor's degree in English literature. She received a master's degree in business administration from Tulane University in New Orleans, where she was a Burkenroad Leaders Scholar and a Morton A. Aldrich Fellow. She is a deputy director of policy in the office of Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal.

The groom graduated with a bachelor's degree in neuroscience from Duke University in Durham and is a medical student at Tulane University School of Medicine.

After a wedding trip to Rome, the couple will live in New Orleans.
