Traffic restrictions are planned in the coming days on Interstates 30, 430 and 440 in different parts of the state, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said Friday.
On the I-440 bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad in southern Jacksonville, the northbound, outside lane will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, and the southbound, outside lane will be closed those same hours Thursday and Friday. A bridge inspection is planned.
On I-430 in Little Rock, southbound traffic will be limited to a single lane between the on-ramp at Hermitage Road and the Shackleford Road on-ramp between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday. The southbound I-430 on-ramp at Hermitage Road will also be blocked, the highway agency said, noting crews will be installing a barrier wall and installing overhead signs.
On I-30 in Benton, the outside lane of the westbound highway under the Old Military Road bridge will be closed between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday, while the inside lane will be closed the same hours Tuesday. Repairs are set on concrete on the 51-year-old bridge during the closures.
