The Siloam Springs clinic is one of four medical clinics that are part of the healthcare ministry of St. Francis House NWA. Community Clinic is the "largest safety-net healthcare provider" in Northwest Arkansas, according to the group's website.
Offerings at the clinics include screening and prevention, family practice, pediatric and prenatal services. Proceeds from the event will help support "patient services, prescription assistance and other pivotal services" in Siloam Springs, said Tyler Clark, community development manager.
The clinic serves un- or under-insured patients who pay what they can afford, based on a sliding scale according to their income and family size. No one is turned away because he cannot pay. Clark said the organization serves more than more than 27,000 patients each year in Northwest Arkansas.
