Googley is our pet of the week. He is a medium to long-haired cat who resembles a miniature Maine coon cat, with a classic light gray coat with darker gray mackerel tabby markings. He is very affectionate. He loves his dogs and would be unhappy without one. As long as they are not aggressive, he can teach them manners. He's fine with other cats and probably good with children. Googley is about 5 years old.

Featured Felines

Icee is solid white, 5-year-old cat who is blind with only one eye that sees some light. She will require some maintenance and a home check, but she gets around fine and even chases flies. She would be best in a home with calm, loving teens through adults. Icee likely would be happiest as an only cat but would probably simply ignore a nonagressive dog.

Spanky is a 5-year-old, domestic short-haired, orange tabby who is very sweet and talkative. He came from a litter of Siamese kittens.

Sara is a 9-year-old, domestic short-haired, brown tabby who is very sweet and very affectionate. She is a little chubby. She would be a great first cat or only cat.

Copper is a male domestic short hair with beautiful copper-colored eyes. This sweet and loving boy is a little more than 3 years old.

Cupcake is a lovely, prissy female cat, an adult found abandoned in the Benton/Bryant area. Cupcake loves to eat and has become a happy, fat cat. She's very sweet but a little mischievous sometimes and is a wonderful companion.

Dooda is a 5-year-old tuxedo male. He is a quiet kitty who loves to be carried around on his foster mother's shoulder. He gets along with other cats but will be just as happy to be an only kitty.

Spartacus is about 5 months old and is a short-haired black-and-white tuxedo. He is very friendly and affectionate and likes to sleep on a lap. He will play with a laser dot, always hopeful he will catch it. He would do fine with cats, dogs and children.

Tootsie Tipper is a 7-year-old short-haired black and white tweed tabby, until you get to the last inches of her tail which has orange rings. She is affectionate and loving and would really like a human who can give her full-time attention. She prefers a home with no more than one other nonaggressive cat, but calm, medium-size dogs are fine. Children would have to be well-behaved.

Tony and Tickle Tipper are Tootsie's 5-year-old sons. Tickle is the black/white tweed that dominates his mother, with a white tail tip, and Tony is an orange mackerel tabby. They are affectionate but not couch potatoes and would love a human of their own to spend more time playing with them. They are fine with other cats, although play may get aggressive. Quiet, medium dogs are OK, but they are probably not a good fit with young children. Both are domestic short-haired.

Lillith is a female, about 9 years old. She gets along with other cats but wants to be the queen. She sleeps with her humans and is very sweet with a lovely purr. She needs a house with some yard around it, not an apartment with foot traffic near the windows. She is a standard gray/black tabby.

Googley and friends can be adopted through FuRR. More information is available at (501) 661-0956 and www.teamfurr.org.
