FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas' 2015 baseball schedule will include 36 home games and a game at North Little Rock's Dickey-Stephens Park for the sixth consecutive season.
The Razorbacks will open the season Feb. 13 with a three-game series against North Dakota at Baum Stadium. Arkansas will also host Loyola Marymount and California at home in the nonconference, and play Central Florida, South Alabama and Maryland at a tournament in Mobile, Alabama the second week of the season.
Arkansas opens its SEC season with a road trip to defending national champion Vanderbilt, followed by back-to-back home series against LSU and Ole Miss. Other SEC home series are against Kentucky, Mississippi State and Tennessee, while the Razorbacks will travel to Alabama, Texas A&M, Auburn and Georgia.
The games against the Crimson Tide will be played at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in the suburbs of Birmingham while Alabama's on-campus stadium is being renovated.
Arkansas will play Memphis twice at minor league ballparks. The Razorbacks will be the host team for a March 24 game in North Little Rock, while the Tigers will be the host team the following day at Autozone Park in Memphis.
Arkansas will also travel to Creighton during the final week of the regular season. The Blue Jays play their home games at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Nebraska, which is the home of the College World Series.
The Razorbacks finished last season with a 40-25 record. Arkansas returns seven position players who started at least 24 games last year and its Friday night pitcher for the 2015 season.
The Razorbacks will also welcome in a freshman class rated the second-best in the country by Perfect Game USA.
