A Little Rock man has been charged with murder in a Sunday night fatal shooting.
Officers responded to a shots-fired call at 5204 W. 24th St. about 10:35 p.m. Sunday, a Little Rock Police Department report states.
There, officers were flagged down by a woman, who ran over to a man, Owen Harvey, 29, who was lying unconscious on the ground, according to the report.
The woman told officers that Harvey was shot after an argument with Charles O’Neal, 31, who lives at the 24th Street address, police said. Harvey was taken to UAMS Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead, according to the report.
His death marked Little Rock’s sixth homicide of 2015, police said.
O’Neal arrived to the scene shortly after more authorities arrived and was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. He is being held in the Pulaski County jail.
