Lyon College Flute Choir Spring Concert

BATESVILLE — The Lyon College Flute Choir, celebrating its 20th year, will play a spring concert at 4 p.m. in the Bevens Music Room. The ensemble, directed by Laura Stinson, includes Lyon College students, Lyon faculty, area flutists and string players. The program will include works in various musical styles, including jazz numbers featuring guest pianist Tom Massey and vocalist Caitlin Campbell. Other guest performers include vocalists Benjamin Elton and Molly Lucy, who will sing Beatles songs, accompanied by guitarist Jon Healey and whistler Jeanne Fitzgerald; and soprano Rachelle Wade, who will offer a song from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The free concert is open to the public.

Historical Society Meeting

National Juried Exhibition, Reception

BATESVILLE — The Batesville Area Arts Council will hold its third annual National Juried Exhibition, beginning Tuesday and running through June 13.
