A Searcy motorcyclist died Tuesday in an accident in White County, Arkansas State Police said.
Robert Ballou, 62, of Searcy was driving his 2015 Suzuki motorcycle south on U.S. 67 when he attempted a lane change and his motorcycle clipped the rear of a 2009 Dodge van, also traveling south, state police reported. The motorcycle left the roadway, entered the median and hit the cable barrier.
The wreck occurred at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at mile marker 43 south of Searcy, state police said.
