Lindsey Kay Wright - Alexander Franklin Ray

Lindsey Kay Wright and Alexander Franklin Ray were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, in Calvary Baptist Church. The Rev. Jason Curry of the Church at Rock Creek officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Kim and Casey Wright of Glenwood. Her grandparents are Janie and Ray McGhee of Bryant and Laquita and Joe Wright, also of Glenwood.

Parents of the groom are Rose and Dennis Ray of Jacksonville. He is the grandson of Mildred and the late Leland Simpson of DeWitt and the late Gladys and Arthur Ray of Smackover.

The chancel held a wooden arch decorated with kiwi vine, curly willow, blush roses, sweet peas, cream peonies and dusty miller. Cory and Stephanie Epps sang "When I Say I Do" during the lighting of the unity candle.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory sheath. The beaded and embroidered sweetheart bodice had cap sleeves and the skirt extended to a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of blush roses, white hydrangeas, peach stock and silver succulents.

Kiley Jane Wright of Benton served as her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jourdan Williams of North Little Rock, sister of the groom; Whitney Jones of Fort Worth; Desiree Kreihbel, Rachel Jones and Laura Fogle, all of Branson; Tina Cool-Anderson of Branson West, Mo.; Amanda Reep and Jessica Jackson, both of Little Rock; and Carrie Shuler of Arkadelphia. They wore one-shoulder gowns of blush chiffon embellished with a beaded brooch at the waist. Their bouquets were filled with gypsophila, white hydrangeas, peach stock and dusty miller.

Flower girl was Emilee McGhee of Glenwood, cousin of the bride, and ring bearers were Jaxon Ray and Jase-Astin Williams, both of North Little Rock and nephews of the groom.

The groom's honor attendants were Chris Nissen of Bryant, Jarod Townsend of Oklahoma City and Zachary Ray of North Little Rock, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Stewart Kelly of Birmingham, Ala.; Mark Bartels of Oklahoma City; Zach Zucha of Plano, Texas; Alek Eurich of Little Rock; Trey Gosser of North Little Rock; Drew Lavendar of Bryant; Jeffrey Cobb of Nashville; and Frank Yang of Sherwood. Guests were seated by Josh Emery of Memphis, Josh Sunwall and Nick Natali, both of Little Rock, and Chris Ross of Wynne.

A reception at the The Junior League of Little Rock Building followed the ceremony. Centerpieces on the guest tables held different shapes and sizes of fluted glass vases holding arrangements of curly willow, pink larkspur, peach stock, white hydrangeas and mixed roses.

The bride graduated summa cum laude from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia with bachelor's degrees in mass communications and musical theater. She is a student at the William H. Bowen School of Law at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where she is ranked first in her class, and will be a law clerk at Cross, Gunter, Witherspoon, and Galchus LP this fall.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in political science and business from OBU. He is employed by Johnson Controls as the industrial building service senior account manager and serves on the board of directors for Ballet Arkansas.

After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple will live in Bryant.
