ASU adds four online bachelor's degrees

Arkansas State University on Tuesday announced the addition of four online bachelor of arts degrees.

The degrees are in communication studies, sociology, criminology and political science.

"The diversity of programs that we offer online allows students to be able to fully realize their potential through course plans specialized to meet their individual needs," Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Research Lynita Cooksey said in a statement.

Applications for class enrollment in each new program are due Sept. 28. Online classes start Oct. 19.

ASU now offers six bachelor's degree completion programs that are entirely online, according to the university.
