Based on a video game, Hitman: Agent 47 is a movie about an elite assassin genetically engineered to be a perfect killing machine.
Meanwhile, in American Ultra, Mike (Jesse Eisenberg) only seems to be a comic-drawing stoner with seemingly little ambition beyond marrying his lovely girlfriend (Kristin Stewart) and hanging out in his small town. He’s actually a highly trained sleeper cell agent.

Not everything this week is blood and balletic violence, however. Our Philip Martin reviews The End of the Tour, a two-handed road movie that documents an interview Rolling Stone reporter David Lipsky (Eisenberg, again) had with literary It boy David Foster Wallace (Jason Segal) back in 1996.
