Memphis bridge lanes to be closed

A routine inspection of the Interstate 40 bridge over the Mississippi River at West Memphis will require lane closures for three days beginning Tuesday, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.

The work will require the westbound outside lane of the bridge to be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through Thursday, weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled using warning signs, flashing arrow boards and traffic cones, the department said.
