NLR man in truck found shot in head

North Little Rock police were investigating after a man was critically injured in a shooting Sunday night.

Officers responded at 11:37 p.m to the 1100 block of Crest Street near West 11th Street, police spokesman Sgt. Brian Dedrick said. They found Angel Ellu Murcia, 30, in his truck. Murcia had been shot in the head. He was taken to UAMS Medical Center for treatment.

Dedrick said Murcia, of North Little Rock, remained hospitalized in critical condition late Monday.

Dedrick said an investigation was ongoing, and there was no information on suspects.

Naked man found on lawn, arrested

A Little Rock woman found a naked man in her yard early Monday, police reported.

Officers were called about 3:45 a.m. to 4118 W. 19th St. They found Angel Daniel Escalante-Flores, 29, lying on the grass nude and masturbating, according to a police report. He was arrested.

Escalante-Flores, of Little Rock, smelled of intoxicants and could only walk with help from officers, the report states. It was unclear how he ended up outside the residence. His listed address is more than 5 miles from where he was found.

Escalante-Flores was charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct. He was not listed on the Pulaski County jail roster Monday afternoon.

Man robs lingerie store with toy gun

A man robbed a lingerie store at gunpoint Monday morning in Little Rock, police reported.

Officers were called shortly after 6:12 a.m. to Cupid's Lingerie at 3920 W. 65th St. According to the report, the man held up the business with a toy revolver and took a real gun from an employee. Further details of the robbery weren't immediately available.

No injuries were reported.

The man is described as white, possibly Hispanic, and about 5-foot-10 in height. Police said he appeared to be between the ages of 25 and 30, and he wore a gray T-shirt with long blue sleeves, a dark-colored baseball cap, bluejeans, and black tennis shoes with bright orange laces.

No arrests had been late Monday.
