Collision causes power outage

A car collided with a utility pole on Cantrell Road near Riverfront Drive at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, knocking out power to a nearby neighborhood.

According to radio traffic, Little Rock firefighters were working to get a woman out of the car, which had hit the pole and rolled down a ditch. The woman, according to the chatter, was "in no distress."

Crews from Entergy were working to restore power, which was lost to approximately 900 customers in the Cantrell and Riverfront area. According to Entergy's website, power is expected to be restored by 4 a.m.
