Madeline Jamay Taylor and Phillip Gene Doerner III exchanged marriage vows at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, in Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. The Rev. Belinda Price officiated.

Karen and William Taylor, 74 El Dorado Drive, are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of the late Merle and Marvin Owens of East End and the late Juanita Taylor of Prescott.

The groom is the son of Marsha and Dr. Phillip Doerner Jr. of Oklahoma City. He is the grandson of Carole and the late Phillip Doerner of Edmond, Okla., and the late Louise and Monroe Noey of Harrah, Okla.

The altar held an arrangement of cream-colored flowers. Music was by organist James Maase. Jessica Beaver gave a reading and greeters were Lindsay Poole and Dr. Josie Niemyer.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a Chantilly lace gown embellished with Venice lace appliques and a scalloped hemline. She carried a bouquet of Sahara roses, white peonies, white runuculus, blush spray roses and white hydrangeas.

Megan Taylor Bartlett of Austin, Texas, was her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Dr. Rebecca Barfield of Little Rock; Mai-Khoi Nguyen-Thanh and Melissa Spievack, both of New York; Dr. Sayuri Jinadasa of Boston; and Elsa Allen of Tulsa. They wore black dresses in the style of their choice and carried bouquets similar to the bride's.

Best man was Michael Doerner of Chicago, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Tyler Parker of Philadelphia, Tanner Gardner of Houston and Dr. Jeff Bernard of Brentwood, Calif. Guests were seated by Nick Baker of Allen, Texas; Blake Stepanovich of Norman, Okla.; Levi Garrison of Edmond; and Micah Wright, Max Cieminski, Eric Sparks, Daniel Dittus and Christopher Gasbarra, all of Tulsa.

A reception at the Junior League of Little Rock building followed the ceremony. Round guest tables were covered in ivory tablecloths and centered with cream floral arrangements and candles. Assisting were Maci Curtis of Rosston and Beth Poindexter and Megan Ratcliff, both of Prescott.

The bride graduated with a bachelor's degree in English from Princeton University and a juris doctorate from Washington University. She is a senior lawyer at New Gulf Resources in Tulsa.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in human biology from Stanford University and a master's degree in kinesiology from the University of Texas. He will graduate in April with a degree in medicine from Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa.

The couple will make their home in Tulsa and plan a May wedding trip to Kauai, Hawaii.
