RUSSELLVILLE — Arkansas Tech University has announced a more than $575,000 grant from the Walton Family Foundation to ATU to maintain continuing education programs for school superintendents and principals across Arkansas.
ATU said Monday that it has received a $171,756 check as the first installment to the $575,349 grant.
The grant is for the Leader-to-Leader program in which selected superintendents and principals meet during the academic year to learn new techniques in school leadership and share information about their common challenges and solutions.
