20 mentoring program grads, peer mentors honored at gala

Twenty young graduates were honored Dec. 17 at the annual 100 Black Men of Greater Little Rock Christmas Gala at the Doubletree Hotel. The young black men from the central Arkansas area had recently completed the 100 Academy mentoring program.

Also receiving an award were Caleb Smith and Cameron Smith. The twins were named Peer Mentors of the Year. Other graduates recognized as peer mentors were David Crawford, Samuel Crawford, Kim Barkins, Parrish Reid, Lamar Reid and Alexander Carter.
