The North Little Rock Police Department is investigating a Wednesday afternoon armed robbery at a Park Hill bank, officials say.

North Little Rock Police Department spokesman Cpl. Carmen Helton said about 2:20 p.m., a white man wearing a black jacket entered the U.S. Bank at 4140 John F. Kennedy Blvd. and demanded money.

He displayed an unknown type of handgun to an employee, and left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, Helton said.

The robber is about 5-foot-10, 40 years old, and weighs 200 pounds, police said.

No arrests have been made.
