4A-7 GIRLS

FOUNTAIN LAKE 41, WALDRON 26

BAUXITE -- It took awhile for Fountain Lake junior Bailey Womack to get going, but once she did, she was close to unstoppable.

Womack recorded a game-high 20 points and five assists, leading the sixth-seeded Lady Cobras to a 41-26 victory over No. 7 seed Waldron in the first round of the Class 4A-7 tournament Wednesday night at Dawson Gymnasium.

"Bailey played really well," Fountain Lake Coach Chris Mungle said. "She played under control and did a really good job of making everybody around her better.
