— Arkansas will begin Southeastern Conference play as a ranked team.

The Razorbacks (11-2) are No. 23 in this week's Associated Press Top 25. Arkansas opens its conference season with a game at Georgia on Tuesday.

It is the second time Arkansas has been ranked this season, having spent two weeks and climbing as high as No. 18 in the poll in November. The Razorbacks have not been ranked for a regular season SEC game since February 1999.

Arkansas has won five straight games since a 68-65 overtime loss at Clemson on Dec. 7. Georgia (9-3) enters Tuesday's game on a six-game win streak, including a win at Kansas State last Wednesday.

No. 1 Kentucky is the only other SEC team ranked this week. LSU and South Carolina received votes in the AP poll.
