Little Rock Schlotzsky's robbed Saturday night

Police are searching for two men who robbed a Little Rock Schlotzsky’s Deli on Saturday night.

At 7:20 p.m., two men entered the business at 11815 Mara Lynn Road, held employee Jesse Doering, 30, at gunpoint and demanded he give them contents of the safe and cash register, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.

The two men instructed Doering to get on the ground and then struck him several times with a rifle, causing minor injuries, police said.

Employee Cole Thennes, 22, told police as Doering led the two men to the safe, he was also held at gunpoint, instructed to get on the ground and was struck in his abdomen with a rifle.

Employee Sherodick Strong, 22, told officers he heard the front door chime ring, indicating a customer entering the store while he was in the office of the business.

He looked at security camera footage and saw the two men entering and and holding Doering at gunpoint. Strong jumped out the drive thru window and called police at the Little Caesars next door, according to the report.

The robbers are 5-foot-8 black men, about 180 pounds and were wearing all black during the robbery.

No arrests have been made.
