A 19-year-old passenger was killed Sunday afternoon in a collision in Marion County, authorities said.
It happened shortly before 3:30 p.m. on Arkansas 14 about a 1 1/2 miles south of Yellville.
Arkansas State Police say Robert J. Henderson of Brockwell was a passenger in a westbound 2006 Nissan Altima that crossed into the eastbound lanes and hit a 2005 Ford Explorer.
Henderson suffered fatal injuries. Neither driver was hurt.
It wasn't clear what caused the collision. Conditions at the time were said to be clear and dry.
The death was the 281st in a traffic crash in Arkansas so far this year, according to preliminary figures.
