Hot Springs' Ghost Bones, showcase winners, at Stickyz

Ghost Bones will perform at 8:30 p.m. Friday at Stickyz Rock 'n' Roll Chicken Shack and the show will open with sets by Androids of Ex Lovers and John Willis.

Ghost Bones, based in Hot Springs, won this year's Arkansas Times Musicians Showcase. Members are Ashley Hill on vocals, Adam Walton on drums, Bobby Nixon on guitar and Ryan Jolly on bass. Cover charge is $7.

The Stolen Faces will perform at 9 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $7.

Jason Isbell will headline the opening night of the new Peacemaker Music and Arts Fest in Fort Smith, Friday-Sunday at the downtown River Park Amphitheater.

Isbell released his latest and sixth album, Something More Than Free, on July 17. In 2014, he won three Americana Music Awards: Artist of the Year, Song of the Year (for "Cover Me Up") and Album of the Year (for Southeastern).

Gates open at 4 p.m. Friday. Tyrannosaurus Chicken performs from 5-5:30, followed by The Paul Benjamin Band with Jesse Aycock, 5:50-6:40; The Cate Brothers Band, 7-8; Lucero, 8:20-9:30; and Isbell, 10-11:30.

Saturday the schedule opens with Luke Pruitt, 3-3:30 p.m., followed by Isayah's Allstars, 3:50-4:30; Brown Sabbath, 5-5:50; Red Wanting Blue, 6:10-7; Anders Osborne, 7:20-8:10; Corey Smith, 8:30-9:30; and the Chris Robinson Brotherhood, 10-11:30.

Sunday's schedule features Shadygruve, noon-12:45 p.m.; The Boxcars, 1:10-2:10; and Sleepy Man, 2:30-3:45.

Tickets are $15 and $20 Friday or Saturday, $10 Sunday, $30 for a three-day pass.
