Maintenance on Interstate 49 will require overnight lane closures in Benton County on Sunday and Monday, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
Crews will be clearing drains, sweeping and removing litter and debris on I-49 southbound and northbound from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night, weather permitting. The work will reduce traffic to one lane within the work zone.
The work will extend south from Arkansas 72, also called Central Avenue, in Bentonville to the Washington County line. Crews will then return northbound to Exit 93 in Bella Vista and return to Arkansas 72 in Bentonville, the department said.
