ALDERSGATE AFTER DARK LIVE

176 piano keys keep patrons singing along at camp benefit

The Little Rock skyline as seen from the Great Hall of the Clinton Presidential Center provided a backdrop for two piano players and their instruments June 5 at Aldersgate After Dark Live.

Ted Oliver and Dan Gilgoly with All American Dueling Pianos of Chicago were the evening's entertainment. And in honor of the two Windy City natives, the food served was in the style of a Chicago street fair with hot dogs, roast beef sliders and miniature pizzas. There was also freshly popped popcorn in traditional red and white striped boxes with a choice of toppings.

After guests dined on the fair food and browsed and bid on silent auction items, it was time for the show. Guests were invited to sing along and make song requests -- for a tip, of course. All the tips were donated to Camp Aldersgate.

About 200 guests attended and helped raise more than $35,000 for the camp, which provides year-round social service programs for people with special needs.
