Two men rob, force Luxora man to drive to LR

Two men robbed a Mississippi County man and forced him to drive them to Little Rock last week, police say.

On March 2, Robert Birmingham, 66, told police two men robbed him at his home in Luxora and then forced him to drive to Little Rock, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.

Once they got to the city, the two men fled.

The men stole “a safe and guns,” and Birmingham was treated for cuts and bruises, according to the report.

Birmingham didn't know the men, and he told police they called each other Trey and Matt, the report states.

Birmingham's 2006 Chevrolet Avalanche was processed for evidence by the Little Rock police.

No descriptions for the robbers were provided, and no arrests have been made.
