Ebola survivor to speak at Harding on March 17

SEARCY — Ebola survivor Dr. Kent Brantly is to speak next week at Harding University as part of the school's American Studies Institute Distinguished Lecture Series.

Brantly is scheduled to speak March 17 in Benson Auditorium. The presentation is free and public.

Brantly contracted Ebola while treating patients in Liberia and became the first person with the virus to be treated in the U.S. when he was evacuated to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
