Man held in Dollar General robbery, apartment break-in

A 22-year-old Little Rock man has been arrested in the armed robbery of a local Dollar General and an apartment break-in.

Turod Jacobs is facing charges including aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and aggravated assault.

Little Rock police said Jacobs was identified as one of two men who robbed the Dollar General at 4920 Baseline Road on March 9. He's accused of pointing a gun at the clerk and customers while the second man took cash from the register.

Reports show Jacobs is also charged in a March 4 break-in at an apartment at 9600 W. 36th St., during which he's accused of kicking in a door and threatening a woman inside with a handgun.

Jacobs — who was arrested about 6 p.m. Wednesday at an apartment on Kanis Road — remained in the Pulaski County jail Thursday morning with bail not yet set on the Little Rock charges. He was also jailed on a pair of holds from other jurisdictions, Mississippi County and White County.
