A 22-year-old man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in Little Rock on Wednesday has surrendered, authorities said.

Police spokesman Lt. Sidney Allen said in an email shortly after 1 p.m. that Kevious Foster on Friday went to a police station with an attorney and turned himself in.

Foster faces charges of first-degree murder and first-degree battery in the Wednesday fatal shooting in the 1900 block of East Capitol Avenue.

The shooting happened about 3:40 p.m., killing Ladarrious Galbruth, 25, of Little Rock, in a Chevrolet Impala and injuring Kenteria Baines, 20, of Little Rock, who was also in the vehicle.

The fatal shooting was one of two homicides reported within minutes of each other Wednesday afternoon in Little Rock, though investigators say the cases are not believed to be related.

Foster is at the Pulaski County jail with bond not yet set.
