Mary Katherine Smith became the bride of Richard Heath Henderson at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 25, in St. Paul United Methodist Church. The Rev. Russell Breshears and the Rev. Walter Smith of Christ of the Hills United Methodist Church in Hot Springs Village officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Donna and David Smith, 200 S. Ridge Road. She is the granddaughter of Loyd and the late Myrl Smith of Gentry and the late Pauline and Samuel Norvell Jr. of Fort Smith.

The groom is the son of Marcia and the late Gary Don Henderson of Alexander. His grandparents are Ernestine and Richard Sanders of Little Rock and Ruby and the late Archie Henderson of Alexander.

The chancel was decorated with arrangements of pale pink peonies, cream roses, peach tulips and hydrangeas. Music was by organist Lisa Hester.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an embroidered lace gown embellished with crystal beading. The strapless bodice had a sweetheart neckline and the skirt had a scalloped hem and a chapel train. She carried a large bouquet of peonies, hydrangeas and tulips.

Serving as the bride's honor attendants were Rickie Smith of Little Rock and Kendra Henderson of Alexander, sister of the groom.

Bridesmaids were Lillie Cravens of Oklahoma City, cousin of the bride; Kristina Lopez of Bryant; and Anna Douglass, Ashley McNatt and Lauren Piwetz, all of Little Rock. Junior bridesmaid was Kyndal Peel of Little Rock. They wore dresses in the style of their choice in shades of pink or coral and carried bouquets of pale green hydrangeas, pink roses, pale peach hypericum berries and pale pink peonies.

Best man was Samuel David Smith of Little Rock, brother of the bride. Groomsmen were Gianni Bardella of Maumelle; William Cravens Jr. of Austin, Texas, cousin of the bride; Robert Hill IV of Russellville; and Bryan Hall, Dr. John Kincaid Jr. and William Smith, all also of Little Rock.

A reception in St. Mark's Episcopal Church Parish Hall followed the ceremony. Guest tables were centered with arrangements of bells of Ireland, tulips, Dutch stock, roses and curly willow branches interspersed with bronze lanterns and ivory pillar candles. Music was by Twanngo Band.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and has a bachelor's degree in finance and a master's degree in business administration. She is an account manager at Insurance Center Inc.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville. He is a product engineer at the Hall Group in North Little Rock.

After a Caribbean cruise, the couple will live in Little Rock.
