A routine bridge inspection will require lane closures on Arkansas 64 between Fort Smith and Van Buren for one day this week and next, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
Crews inspecting the bridge on what also is called Midland Boulevard over the Arkansas River will require closing the outside lanes on the bridge from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Monday, weather permitting. The work will affect the eastbound lane before switching to the westbound lane, the department said.
