Triple-threat singer Will Hoge, country's Crow at Rev Room

Will Hoge will perform at 7:30 p.m. today at the Rev Room in support of his ninth album, Small Town Dreams. Admission is $10.

Hoge, a Nashville, Tenn., native who combines rock, folk and country sounds, has built an Arkansas fan base since he launched his career in 1997. His most recent central Arkansas performance was in October, when he was featured at the White Hall Founders Day Festival.

Bart Crow will perform Friday night, and Rich O'Toole will open the 9 p.m. show. Admission is $10.

Crow is one of the hottest young honky-tonk Texas musicians, best-known for his song, "Wear My Ring."

Banditos will play at 8:30 p.m. today at Stickyz Rock 'n' Roll Chicken Shack. Admission is $7.

Banditos, a Birmingham, Ala., band now based in Nashville, will release its debut, self-titled album Tuesday on Bloodshot Records. The six-piece band recorded its album in the famed music town, Muscle Shoals, Ala., and the band's bio describes its sound as a "blend of '60s blues-fused acid rock, jangly, 'hip-shake baby' groove, garage punk scuzz and bits of Muscle Shoals soul and doo-wop sweetness."

Feufollet will perform at 9 p.m. Friday. Admission is $7.

The southwest Louisiana quintet performs Cajun music on a variety of instruments, including fiddle, accordion, bass, drums, acoustic and electric guitars and keyboards. In 2008, the band released a debut album, Cow Island Hop.

The Good Time Ramblers will perform at 9 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $5. The central Arkansas band will mark a decade together this summer.

Metro Station, Say We Can Fly, 7 Minutes in Heaven and System Avenue will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at Juanita's. Admission is $13.

Metro Station is a Los Angeles electro-pop duo, with two additional touring members. The group will be part of this year's Warped Tour.

Tina Sparke will headline a show at 9 p.m. today at the White Water Tavern that will also feature: Jared Grabb, Among Thieves, Har Megggidu and Greg MacPherson.

Cover charge is $5.

Patrick Sweany will perform at 10 p.m. Friday. An Ohio blues rock guitarist, Sweany is now part of the East Nashville, Tenn., scene. He debuted in 1999 with I Wanna Tell You and has since released eight more albums. One of his early bands featured Dan Auerbach, who went on to found The Black Keys.

Sweany's 2006 album C'Mon C'Mere was co-produced by Auerbach and Jimbo Mathus. Admission is $10.

Frontier Circus and The Rolling Blackouts will perform from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday at The Afterthought. Admission is $7.

Though headlining the show, Frontier Circus prefers to play first. The band is wrapping up its tour to promote its latest project, Made in Japan, a hand-crafted box of four 7-inch singles (which, despite its name, was made in Little Rock through Burt Taggart and his local label, Max Recordings). The collection includes the band's "Pablo Picasso Never Got Called Red Neckerson" and its version of Lou Reed's "Walk on the Wild Side."

Funk A Nites will perform from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday. Admission is $7.

Brad Hamilton will play from 8 to 10 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free.

Maxine's in Hot Springs will present Mountain Sprout at 9 p.m. Friday. Admission is $10.

Based in Eureka Springs, the five-man hillbilly rockers specialize in creating frenzied dance floor scenarios.

John Paul Keith will headline Saturday night, and the 9 p.m. show will open with sets by John Willis and Late Romantics and AmyJo Savannah. Admission is $7.

George's Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville will present Barrett Baber at 9:30 p.m. Friday. The show will open with sets by Troy O'Dell and Madison Watkins. Tickets are $7 in advance or $10 at the door.

Baber, a Fayetteville native, is celebrating the release of Falling Again, a six-song EP that will be released Friday. Baber, who recently opened a show for fellow Arkansan Joe Nichols, is a rising country artist.
