Sheriff: Arkansas woman arrested after accidental stabbing

FOUKE — A woman in southwest Arkansas who accidentally stabbed herself in the foot with a craft knife has been jailed after authorities say they found drugs while responding to the medical call.

The Texarkana Gazette reported that the 32-year-old from Texarkana was taken to the Miller County jail and faces charges including felony drug possession.

The Miller County sheriff's office said deputies responded to a medical call Wednesday at a grocery store near Fouke. They said the woman accidentally stabbed herself with an X-Acto knife that was in her shoe.

Deputies said they found a drug pipe in her car while talking to her. They arrested her after she was treated for her injuries at the store.
