TULSA — Tulsa police say a man hit someone with a sledgehammer and used pepper spray during a robbery.
The Tulsa World reported that a woman told police that a man wearing all black clothing stole her backpack, pepper-sprayed her friend and then struck him with a sledgehammer about 1 a.m. Monday. According to police, the suspect fled the scene on foot.
Police say the victim was not taken to the hospital.
