Woman tries to sweep store, is arrested, report says

A Roland woman was arrested on a trespass charge early Thursday after she entered a convenience store, started sweeping and then wouldn't leave, police said.

It happened shortly before 3:30 a.m. at the Kum & Go at 6221 Colonel Glenn Road.

According to a Little Rock Police Department report, 51-year-old Donna Hudson entered and went to the storage room, where she "grabbed a broom and started sweeping."

An employee told Hudson to leave, but she refused and police were called, the report said. She was arrested there.

The report didn't indicate why Hudson may have wanted to sweep the business.

Hudson remained in the Pulaski County jail Thursday morning with bail set at $750. A June 2 court date is scheduled.
