Conway County deputies are investigating a homicide that occurred Thursday night.
Deputies responded to a possible stabbing around 9:31 p.m. in the Center Ridge community on Arkansas 92, Conway County sheriff's office spokesman Josh Baker said in a news release.
Authorities rendered aid to "a subject that was down" on the scene, Baker said. That person was later pronounced dead by the Conway County Coroner Jason McCoy, the release states.
Baker said the victim's name "is not being released at this time." McCoy said he could not release the victim's name until the family was notified.
Two people are in custody and awaiting charges, the release states. Baker said he could not release their names "due to an ongoing homicide investigation."
