Guardsmen focus of new career fair

A career fair sponsored by the Arkansas National Guard's 90th Sustainment Brigade will be 8-10 a.m. today at Camp Robinson in North Little Rock.

National Guard and Reserve members will be able to meet with career professionals and college representatives to discuss opportunities available to them. This is the first year for the event, which is the first in Arkansas, according to event information.

"National Guard and Reserve soldiers serve the country once a month and two weeks in the summer," said 1st Lt. Isaac Henry of the 90th Sustainment Brigade. "Many of them do not have good full-time jobs and careers. The career fair is an opportunity for these soldiers to see what is out there in the job market and what college opportunities await them."
