Woman sentenced for Medicaid fraud

A Lake City woman has been sentenced to three years of probation after pleading guilty to felony Medicaid fraud, Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge said in a news release.

Martha Renshaw, 51, was arrested in December as part of an investigation into Allcare Homecare in Jonesboro, according to the news release.

She admitted to billing Medicaid for services that were not provided, the release says.

Renshaw entered the plea under an agreement with prosecutors and was sentenced by Pulaski County Circuit Judge Herb Wright on Tuesday, according to court records.

She paid $2,000 in restitution before entering the plea, the records show.

According to the release, Wright ordered her to pay an additional $2,210.95 in restitution and a fine of $6,632.85.
