Woman killed, 4 hurt in 2-vehicle crash

A Missouri woman died and four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Benton County on Wednesday, Arkansas State Police said in a preliminary report.

According to the report, 33-year-old Angel D. Worsham of Seligman, Mo., was traveling east on U.S. 62 at Boundary Line Road about 10:35 p.m. Wednesday when her 2001 Saturn collided with a 2011 Chevrolet whose driver was attempting to travel west onto U.S. 62 off Boundary Line Road.

Worsham was killed in the crash, according to state police. A passenger in Worsham's vehicle, 38-year-old Jeremy Worsham of Seligman, Mo., was not injured.

The driver of the Chevrolet, 21-year-old Destiney Doebele of Rogers, as well as three minors, were injured in the two-vehicle crash, state police said. Authorities did not include information regarding which vehicle each of the minors were in at the time of the crash.

Those injured were transported to a local hospital for treatment, according to the report. Exact conditions of the four people were not known as of Thursday morning.

Travel conditions at the time of the crash were described as clear and dry.

The death was the 459th in a crash in Arkansas so far this year, according to preliminary figures.
