Subfreezing temperatures are expected across Arkansas this weekend, forecasters said Friday.
There is a chance for showers Friday night in what's otherwise expected to be a dry weekend, the National Weather Service in North Little Rock said.
Temperatures in parts of the state may reach the low-to-mid 20s at night, and winds may gust up to 35 mph Saturday, the weather service said.
In Fayetteville, where the Razorbacks host Mississippi State at 6 p.m. Saturday, there's a small chance for rain in the morning but it's expected to clear out by 9 a.m.
While skies will be clear, the temperature at kickoff will be around 25 degrees, the weather service said, and could fall to 20 degrees later in the game.
