Free soft drinks and hot dogs, along with firetruck demonstrations, will be available at the North Little Rock Fire Department's annual Fire Fest today.
The event, which is held in conjunction with Fire Prevention Week, will be 5-8 p.m. at the Kroger parking lot at 2509 McCain Blvd.
The event also will feature an Arkansas Game and Fish Commission aquarium, a children's fire-safety house, free eye screenings by the Lions Club and family-friendly games.
