A Forrest City woman was killed and a man was injured in a head-on collision Wednesday morning in St. Francis County, Arkansas State Police reported.
Susan Elizabeth Kersey, 25, was driving a 2014 Nissan west on U.S. 70 east of Forrest City at 8:52 a.m. when her vehicle crossed the centerline and hit a 1993 Mack truck head-on, according to the report. Kersey was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Mack truck, Zachary Billingsley, 27, of Forrest City was injured in the crash and taken to Regional One Health in Memphis.
At the time of the crash, the weather was clear and roads were dry.
